Screwfix has announced the winners of their first 'Product of the year' awards as voted by their customers.
Milwaukee has had a successful year if you were to look at the results of the 'Product of the year awards' by Screwfix. Customers decided that two of the seven trophies available should be won by the company established in 1924. DeWalt walked away from the awards with the same result.
Milwaukee's Shockwave Impact Screwdriver Bits PZ2 25 Pack received more than half of the votes to win the best 'Overall Product of the Year', along with 'Power tool of the year' which they won for their M18CBLPD- 420C 18V 4.0Ah LI-Ion Redlithium Brushless Cordless Combi Drill.
Plumbing Product of the year was won by the Flomasta Bottom-Entry Brass Shank Fill Valve, while Electrical Product of the year was won by the British General for their 13A 2G DP Switched Socket. Other awards up for grab included the 'Workwear Product of the Year', and Screwfix's Low Price Product of the Year, which was snatched up by No Nonsense Decorators' Caulk White. DeWalt secured first place in the Workwear category for their Bolster Safety Boots. They were also winners of the 'Fasted new Trade Rated' product award which was secured by their 18V XR Brushless Combi Drill which has broekn records since it was launched in September.
