Installers undertaking courses such as the Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation and Solar Photovoltaic System Installation enjoyed great success, with pass rates of 97 and 95 per cent respectively. These, along with other useful statistics, are shown in an infographic released by NAPIT Training. The electrical courses provided by NAPIT include a 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course that provides electricians with an up-to-date knowledge of BS7671:2008 (2015) and ensures they have the understanding to fully comply with the industry required qualifications for Amendment 3 to the 17th Edition Regulations. “We continually strive to help installers fill the construction industry skills gap,” says Ian Halton, NAPIT Training and Business Relationship Director. “It is extremely encouraging to see so many installers utilising the training that NAPIT provide. One of our main priorities as a business is to help installers succeed in their chosen trade.” As well as the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course, NAPIT Training provides courses, assessments and examinations on a range of electrical, health and safety, renewable energy and energy efficiency qualifications. Training and assessment centres are approved by City & Guilds, BPEC and Logic Certification (UKAS accredited) with centres based in the Midlands, a fully sustainable renewable training centre based in the South West of the UK and the Premier Training Services centre in the North West.
