“As a supplier, the key to success is understanding the needs of professional installers and the practical challenges they face.” says Andy Hatter of Hylec APL.  Producing innovative designs with high specifications and many thoughtful additional extras included is a speciality of the Northamptonshire-based electrical components manufacturer and distributor.  Hylec has enjoyed another successful year with the launch of several new product lines and a move into new, larger premises in Wellingborough, plus expanding its partnerships with distributors and wholesalers throughout the UK.

Supplied complete with a 16A, UL and VDE-approved, 4-pole screw-less push wire terminal block, Debox SL joins flat or round cable in seconds, saving hours on lighting and power installations and the company has invested in additional manufacturing lines this year to meet demand.

This year has also seen burgeoning demand for waterproof electrical connectors from the TeeTubes range, which provides a completely water-tight seal to IP68 at up to 5 bar pressure in a very wide range of straight, T splitter, Y splitter, 2 and 3 cable entry models in many different sizes.  Hylec has supplied leading contractors who have used this range on major projects including under bridge lighting on the Thames and green energy installations in airports.
